Rationing Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love homemade CCC, but sure don't need to eat a whole batch of them!!  So, I make a certain number of cookies, then freeze the drop the dough by teaspoon fulls onto a baking sheet and freeze them.  After they are frozen, scrape the dough off the sheet and dump the dough balls into a freezer container and take out portions as you need them:)


  1. that works unless you are me. because i love the frozen dough just as much. needless to say i never have enough dough balls left to make another batch of cookies:)

  2. LOL...I'm thankful mine are in the basement freezer!!

  3. That is a great idea! I had thought about making the dough and forming it into a log and then freezing the log. That way I could just cut off slices as I wanted, but I think this sounds easier and faster.
